2010 Winter Sports Week

Get your winter break started off on the right foot by coming to the Maquoketa Y and participate in Winter Sports Week! Winter Sports Week will run from Dec. 27th to Dec. 30th and there is something for everyone!

All events start at 9AM and take place at the Y. Participants may register for multiple events.  Prizes will be awarded for every competition so bring your ‘A’ game! All events are co-ed.

Registration for ALL events are due by December 20th.  Don’t delay, late registrations will NOT be accepted.

2010 Wii Resort Sports Tournaments

Compete in our Wii Resort Sports Tournaments against others in various Wii Resort sports such as archery, frisbee golf, basketball, and bowling.

Wii Sports Resort Tournaments
December 27th & 28th
Participants will compete in a variety of Wii Sports Resort events such as archery, frisbee golf, basketball, and bowling. Participants will be broken into two grade divisions (2nd - 4th & 5th - 8th) and will be randomly seeded in a bracket style tournament.

2010 Basketball Challenge

Not familiar with the Nintendo Wii System? Not a problem! Show off your skills in our basketball challenge! Participants will compete in events such as 3pt shootout, free throw competition, and basketball skills competition.

Basketball Challenge
December 29th
Participants will compete in a variety of basketball related challenges to showcase their abilities in three divisions (3rd - 4th, 5th - 6th & 7th - 8th). Challenges include a 3pt shootout, free throw competition, and a skills competition.

2010 Dodgeball Tournaments

Still not enough action for you? Well, Dodgeball Tournaments are back by popular demand! Get a group of 6 friends and sign your team up today!

Dodgeball Tournaments
December 30th
Form your own team of six players (boys and/or girls) and compete against other teams in a bracket style dodgeball tournament! Teams will be broken up into two divisions (3rd - 5th & 6th - 8th) and will be randomly seeded in a double elimination bracket to see who can top the rest!
